If you have a dog (or a pet) then you know it is like having a child and often moving can be stressful because it means finding new vets, trusted dog walkers, pet suppliers and making new doggy friends! Faversham is an excellent place for dogs.
During the week there are doggy socials at Faversham recreation ground from 7:30-8:30am. It is a great way to meet new people and for your dog to make new friends! The dogs are all different sizes and there are also plenty of other dog walkers throughout the day who your dog can socialise with.

I have also spent some time in the market and there is a sweet local pet shop that is very popular called Ollie bongo, 11 Market Pl, Faversham ME13 7AG. I often go there just to get tips on how to keep my dog healthy. He recently picked up some flea friends which are certainly not welcome in our home and they really helped me find the best flea treatment for my dog. They have a wide range of treats, toys and medical supplies and did I mention that they do free delivery in the Faversham area?

The most recommended vets so far has been Faversham vets on 2 South Road, Faversham, ME13 7LR. I haven’t personally used them because so far all the treatment i have needed I have managed to get from Ollie Bongo. However, I have been told by many that they have really treated their pets well and they had speedy recoveries.

For pet care including grooming, house visits and walks the most recommended has been the Dog house who, despite their name, also provide care for all pets. Their website is: http://www.thedoghousefaversham.co.uk
